thank you for asking your questions. Regarding painting being an inborn talent or a skill that can be learnt. My personal conviction is that painting and drawing is basically a skill that can be acquired. Creativity is not something that can be taught, although I believe that to some extent, creative thinking can also be acquired. A natural talent in any field of life is just something that makes life easier when aspiring to develop that particular field in life, but I don’t believe that the fact that some people have a natural talent should prevent others to acquire such talent.
To your other question. I would try to provide you with a link to a page of North light online shop, where you can have courses particularly for drawing portraits.
